Stimulus check payments are saving the financial situation of millions of Americans. Due to soaring prices and skyrocketing inflation in 2022, many families need additional money.
Despite the fact that there might be the possibility of getting some free money in Alabama, Arizona, or even Virginia, perhaps, the largest stimulus check payment is in the State of Alaska.
While some Alaskans received a stimulus check on October 5 or even on October 26, others may have to wait a little longer. In fact, it will not be until November 16 when they can receive their check.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN ELIGIBLE BENEFICIARIES OF THE STIMULUS CHECK IN ALASKA?
Thanks to the PFD stimulus check in Alaska, a beneficiary can collect $1,312.00. PFD stands for the Permanent Fund Dividend and it gives checks to eligible Alaskans every year.
By now, you must be wondering if you can still apply for the 2023 PFD payment. Unfortunately, the deadline was March 31, 2023. So, it is not possible to apply for it but you will be able to do so next January.
The PFD division accepts applications from January 1 through March 31 every year. Remember that only one application per person is possible. Thus, families with more members should send as many applications as eligible people it has.
The amounts of these stimulus checks change every single year. While beneficiaries got $3,284 for the 2022 PFD payment, it was just $1,312 this year. The good thing is that it is possible to apply online.
To do so you will need to create a myAlaska account or sign up if you have one. Then, you can fill it out and sign your PDF stimulus check application for the next year.
CAN I SEND A PAPER APPLICATION FOR THE PFD STIMULUS CHECK?
If you are not keen on technology, there is also the possibility of using a paper application form. Visit a Distribution Center that is close to you. For your information, paper checks may take much longer to process than direct deposit.
Therefore, if you really need the money from this stimulus check as soon as possible, file early and request direct deposit. If you are filing your child’s application, you can still use your myAlaska account.
But you can do so after filing your PFD application first. Make sure you are a resident of Alaska for the whole year. Or else, you will not be eligible for this great payment. Also, you do not have in mind moving to a different country or state.
Those who have claimed residency in other states or countries cannot file either. If you got into trouble and have been sentenced or incarcerated you may not qualify. Being absent for some time may make you ineligible too.
