Disability Insurance payments, commonly known as SSDI will be arriving through July 24. If you received these disability benefits on July 3, your next payment will be arriving on August 2.
SSDI recipients who were born from the 1st to the 10th will be getting money next. Bear in mind that this money will only be for those who applied, got approval, and remain eligible. If you started getting Social Security before May 1997 or get SSI too, you are not eligible for the next payment.
When will Social Security send the next SSDI check?
According to Social Security’s payment schedule, Disability Insurance will be due on July 10. If your birthday is not from 1-10, you will have 2 more paydays so you may qualify for one of them.
As a matter of fact, the three remaining payments are due on Wednesdays. They will be sent on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday of the month. July 17 will be your payday if your birthday is from 11-20.
SSDI for those whose birthday is from 21-31 will be paid on the 24th. Disability Insurance benefit payments are only for workers who paid enough taxes. Since they may have paid different amounts, filed at a different age, and have different wages, amounts may not be not the same.
Who qualifies for $3,822 in July?
Only a very small percentage of disability beneficiaries can get a large payment from Social Security. Since a disability may have prevented them from carrying on working, it can drastically reduce their benefits.
To get $3,822 you must have worked for a minimum of thirty-five years. Apart from this, you must have earned the contribution and benefit base (taxable maximum) for all this time too.
Filing at the right age is also mandatory. Early filing for retirement can reduce your payment by 30%. Since some SSDI recipients file in their 40s or 50s, they get large reductions and may get low payments. On average disability insurance recipients get $1,537. Some even need to file for SSI too.
