PFD payments are not stimulus checks. However, they provide eligible recipients with such a large payment that it reminds of them. The 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend is worth $1,312 and some beneficiaries have not collected their money yet.

No Stimulus check and no 2023 PFD payments? Here are the 2024 PFD paydays
The Alaska Department of Revenue has confirmed that the 2024 PFD disbursement will take place on October 1. The PFD payment will be about $1,360. However, eligible Alaskans will also receive $295 from the energy relief dividend.
In total, Alaskans could get about $1,655 from these payments starting in early October. Bear in mind that not all recipients will receive their stimulus check-like payments on the same date.
This is because not all PFD recipients have requested a direct deposit from the Department of Revenue and the PFD division. So, let’s see who qualifies for the next payment on October 3, 2024.
PFD paydays and direct deposit & check eligibility
The October 3, 2024, payment will only be for those eligible applicants who filed for the 2024 PFD online and opted for a direct deposit as their payment. Hence, if you desperately need this money, you should have requested a direct deposit rather than a check.
Do not worry because the second payment date will be on October 24, so you will only have to wait for about 3 more weeks. The payment on October 24, 2024, will be for those who chose a paper check as their payment and filed by paper as well.
It is possible to check your payment status online. Once you have a look at it, you will see “Eligible-Not Paid” on September 20. If so, you will receive your direct deposit on October 3.
