Every new month there is a new SNAP Food Stamps payment schedule in the United States. And the funny thing is that each state has a totally different payment schedule. Unlike other benefits, the SNAP Food Stamps check may come earlier or later depending on the state we live in.
The good thing about this is that if we collect a Social Security payment and Food Stamps we will most likely get the money on different days. This makes it much easier to have money throughout the month, since we will collect the different benefits on different days.
Similarly, if we also have Supplemental Security Income and our Social Security is post-1997, we will receive three different payments (SSA, SNAP and SSI) on three different days of the month. This can help us have more stability.
Still, we need to check the list of States that will be sending out payments in the next week. Some States have already sent all the checks and some States have yet to send some SNAP payments.
STATES THAT WILL BE SENDING SNAP IN THE NEXT WEEK
If a State is on this list it does not mean that it has not sent SNAP checks yet. What it does mean is that it could send the checks in the next week. That is, some states have such a large SNAP payment schedule that it may send out the checks for a long time.
For that reason we should take a good look at whether we have already collected the payment or not, since many times we already have it in our pocket and we don’t know for sure because we haven’t checked. These are the states we are talking about:
- Florida: November 1 to 28
- Texas: November 1 to 28
As you can see in the list only Florida and Texas can send checks until November 28th. However, most of the payments have already been sent to their beneficiaries. Both states have been sending out SNAP Food Stamp payments since November 1, so it is not surprising that most recipients have already gotten checks.
WILL WE GET FOOD STAMPS CHECKS IN DECEMBER?
A new SNAP Food Stamp payment schedule will begin in December. This means that if we have accepted checks, we will be able to get this payment without any problems. The exact days on which we will receive the payment will depend on each state, as is usual in these cases.
Also, it is still too early to determine what the December calendar is, but the calendar of previous months can give us an orientation of which states send this benefit earlier and which states take longer to send checks to buy food.
