If you checked your stimulus check status from December 6 and it stated that you are eligible but they have not paid it to you yet, your payment worth $1,312 will arrive in less than 48 hours.
Do not worry because even if this is not your payment, there will be another stimulus check delivery on January 18. For that payment, you can check your status on January 10. So, you will see if you are eligible for that one or not.
WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR THE PFD STIMULUS CHECK IN ALASKA?
Luckily, if you missed the deadline to apply for this check worth $1,312, you will soon be able to submit a new payment. The good thing is the fact that it always has the same filing period. So, it may be easy to remember from one year to another.
The Alaska Department of Revenue claims that the application season starts on January 1st, 2024. Therefore, you will be able to send your application in less than three weeks.
The day you can apply for this stimulus check is important, but you should not miss the deadline on March 31st. What is more, you should know that all members of your family may be eligible.
But even i you are all eligible, you must send just one application per person. If you have children, you’d better file for your stimulus check first. If you are six in your family, you will have to send 6 different applications.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO GET PFD MONEY IN ALASKA?
Whether you apply online or send a paper application from a Distribution Center, you must meet several requirements. Sometimes you are in a particular situation, so it is best to check the right section on the PFD Alaska website.
For example, military, students, or deceased applicants may have special rules you should take into account. To be eligible for this stimulus check you must have been a resident of Alaska during all the calendar year.
People who have claimed a different residency or have no intention to stay in Alaska cannot apply. If you have been sentenced, incarcerated, or convicted you may not qualify, but contact PFD workers to help you find out.
Make sure you have not been absent from Alaska or you will not qualify for the stimulus check. Only residents with an allowable absence may be eligible. Being physically present in Alaska for at least 72 consecutive hours at some point in the two previous years is also a must. Get ready and save the date to apply.
