While some States have already sent all their Food Stamps, others are still sending them. SNAP beneficiaries in Texas and Florida will be receiving checks of up to $1,751 through December 28. Beneficiaries in other States like Vermont or Rhode Island got it in a single payment on December 1.
Even if it is a Federal program, each State can arrange when they send the money. For example, there are some states that are about to send all their Food Stamps in just 2 or 3 days.
Arizona, Arkansas, and Minnesota will finish sending SNAP benefits on December 13. So, there are just two paydays left to send Food Stamps. Remember that the maximum amounts are the same for the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia.
WHO CAN STILL RECEIVE FOOD STAMPS IN ARIZONA, ARKANSAS AND MINNESOTA?
SNAP beneficiaries in Arizona can still get Food Stamps if the first letter of their last name is W, X, Y, Z. If yours is W or X, your payment will reach your Electronic Benefits Transfer card on December 12.
On the contrary, those whose first letter of their last name is Y or Z will receive their money on December 13. Arkansas uses the Social Security Number instead. So, if your SSN ends in 8, December 12 is your payday.
If your SSN in Arkansas ends in 9, your Food Stamps will arrive on December 13, 2023. SNAP recipients in Minnesota can still receive payment of up to $1,751 too. This State uses the last digit of the client’s case.
If your case ends in 2, you will receive Food Stamps on December 12. December 13 will be your payday if your case number ends in 3. Now, let’s see the states that send money through December 14 or 15.
WHO WILL RECEIVE SNAP BENEFITS THROUGH DECEMBER 14 OR 15?
The States of Maine and Massachusetts will finish sending SNAP benefits on December 14. Therefore, there are 3 payments left. Maine has already sent two checks, but there will be a few more if your birthday ends in 2, 3, 4, 7, 5, or 6.
For example, if your birthday ends in 2 or 3, your Food Stamps will be ready on December 12. December 13 will be payday if your birthday ends in 4 or 7. The last payday will be for those beneficiaries whose birthday is 5 or 6 and it will be on December 14.
Massachusetts will send checks on December 13th and December 14th. But there will be no payments on December 12. Recipients whose Social Security Number ends in 8 or 9 will get their SNAP checks on one of these dates.
Utah is going to send its last Food Stamps on December 15. If the first letter of your last name is P – Z, you will get your money to buy food on December 15. Wisconsin is also sending money through December 15. Make sure your SSN is 7, 8, or 9 and your paydays will be Dec. 12, 14, or 15 respectively.
