Stimulus checks were a great way to support American families in a very difficult situation. However, the financial situation of many is not easy either now and they are desperately looking for alternatives.
It is very unlikely that the government will send new stimulus checks. This is because the debt will go up a lot and they cannot really afford to do so or the system could collapse.
What could be possible is to benefit from some stimulus checks in the form of Guaranteed Income Plans. The main reason why you could get some free money is because many States and City Councils have a surplus. So, they use this extra cash to help low-income citizens.
GUARANTEED INCOME PROGRAMS AS STIMULUS CHECKS
If you cannot receive stimulus check payments, you can apply for Guaranteed Income Programs. For example, there will be a new one in Harris County in 2024 for families.
Undoubtedly, this will provide needy families with relief payments, so they can be even better than stimulus checks. They could actually be better because they last longer and they sometimes are more money.
The Federal American Rescue Plan is in charge of funding this stimulus check in Harris County. It will be the Uplift Harris program and it will receive $20.5 million to send payments while it lasts.
Do not worry because you are in time to apply. The application window for this stimulus check in Harris County will not open until January 2024. So, you have not missed the deadline yet.
TAX REBATES AND TAX CREDITS CAN ALSO BE GREAT PAYMENTS
Of course, there will be more tax rebates and tax credits in 2024. For instance, if you live in Alaska you will have the opportunity to file for the PFD money. This is a stimulus check that is paying $1,312 in 2023.
As a matter of fact, you can collect this payment on January 18. But if you did not file for it, you can claim it on January 1 through March 31, 2024. Obviously, it is only for residents who meet all the requirements. These payments may be for all members of the family including children.
Another payment that is still possible to apply for is the Washington Working Families Tax Credit. It can give eligible recipients up to $1,200. Those families with 3 or more children may be eligible for the largest payments.
Even if you are single and you do not have any kids you can apply. Needless to say the amount of your stimulus check will be smaller, but 300 dollars is better than nothing. The deadline to file will be December 31
