We can finally find out what the November paydays will be for United States Social Security checks. If you have an accepted benefit, regardless of whether for spouse, disability or survivor, you will get a new monthly payment in just a few weeks. And we can already know the exact day the Administration will send out each payment.
To find out on which day in November we will collect our Social Security check, we must know which group of retirees we belong to. In total, the Administration sends 4 different payments for retirees on 4 different days. In addition, there is no irregularity in the month of November, so Americans with a Supplemental Security Income payment can also get the benefit.
In total, the maximum number of checks an American citizen can get from Social Security in November is 2: one from retirement and one from Supplemental Security Income. Still, this does not mean that everyone gets the same number of checks.
In short, to know the day we must know which group we belong to and to know which group we belong to we have to look at the requirements. One of these groups of retirees has one requirement. The rest of the beneficiary groups have two requirements. What day will you collect your Social Security payment for the month of November?
COMPLETE SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR NOVEMBER
The November Social Security payment schedule includes up to 5 different payments. One of those payments is Supplemental Security Income and the other four payments are for disability, survivor, or age retirement retirees.
These are the days and conditions for getting each of these payments:
- November 1st. Supplemental Security Income (also known as SSI) payment. This payment is for all recipients of this benefit. There are no separate days for this check and the Administration sends all SSI checks on the same day.
- November 3rd. The Social Security benefit for all pre-1997 beneficiaries will be on this day in November.
- November 8th. Payments for retirees with a post-1997 benefit and a birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month are sent on this day.
- November 15th. Retirees with a check from after 1997 and birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month get payment on this day.
- November 22nd. Last payment of the month. To receive a check on this day, you must have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month and be retired after 1997.
The payment on November 22nd is the last one, which means that after that payment we will have to wait until December to get a new one. Even so, remember that these are the days in which the Administration will send the payments. Whether or not we get them on the same day depends on the payment method.
If we choose Direct Deposit as a payment method we will have the money instantly in our pocket. If we do not choose this payment method, we will have to wait about three days to have the Social Security money in our bank account.
