While some States have finished sending their SNAP checks, others are still sending money this week. For example, Alaska sent all the money to all Food Stamps beneficiaries on November 1.
However, if you live in Texas, it is possible to collect SNAP payments from November 1 through November 28. In order to know when you can receive Food Stamps in Texas, you must check the date you certified.
So, if a Texan household certified before June 1, 2020, they will be the first to cash SNAP benefits. What is more, you need to look for your Eligibility Determination Group number.
Which SNAP payments are due in Texas this week?
There will be two more checks this week. As a matter of fact, only those whose Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number ends in 1 will receive Food Stamps on November 3, 2023.
On November 4, there will be no SNAP payment in Texas. But if your Eligibility Determination Group number ends in 2, November 5 will be your next payday in Texas.
The maximum SNAP amount an 8-member family can receive is up to $1,751. If you are a four-member family, the maximum amount in Texas is up to $973 or $766 for three.
Bear in mind that if you are an Able-bodied Adult Without Dependants you must meet the work requirements. So, if you are between 18-52, you must work for 80 hours to cash benefits for more than 3 months in a 3-year period.
When will SNAP payments take place in Texas next week?
Next week, there will be 5 payments on November 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13 said the Food and Nutrition Service from the Department of Agriculture. The payday on November 6 will only be for recipients whose EDG number ends in 3.
The following day, on November 7, there will be another SNAP check. If your Eligibility Determination Group number ends in 4, your money will be ready on your EBT card. the Electronic Benefits Transfer card is known as the Lone Star card in Texas.
November 9 will be another payday but only if your Eligibility Determination Group number ends in 5. A single individual can collect a SNAP payment of up to $291, up from 281 dollars on September 30, 2023.
The last two SNAP payments will be on November 11 and 12. As you may have guessed, your Eligibility Determination Group number must end in 6 and 7 respectively to cash money on any of these 2 days.
These first round of payments will be over will the November 13 and November 15 Food Stamp checks. Remember that Eligibility your Determination Group number must end in 8 (November 13) or 9 (November 15).
