Some of the largest SNAP (Food Stamps) payments have not been sent yet in the United States. The highest ones were sent in Alaska on September 1, 2024, but there are other high amounts to be delivered.
Hawaii is about to send Food Stamps worth a great deal of money if you are eligible for the maximum amount. Apart from Hawaii, large SNAP payments are also coming in Guam.
Food Stamps in Hawaii, dates and eligibility
After the SNAP payment on September 3, Hawaii will issue the next Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program payments on September 5, 2024. The State of Hawaii uses the first letter of SNAP recipients’ last name.
So, those whose first letter of their last name is from J-Z will collect Food Stamps on September 5. So, if you live in Hawaii and have not received your SNAP benefits yet, check your EBT card on the 5th.

Guam is also sending large SNAP benefits
Guam will send Food Stamps of up to $430 for individuals. If you live in the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia, it could be up to $291. So, depending on the inflation your State or territory has, you may receive a larger payment. Paydays in Guam are below:
- If your SSN ends with a 4, you’ll receive benefits on the 4th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with a 5, benefits will be available on the 5th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with a 6, your benefits will be accessible on the 6th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with a 7, benefits are available on the 7th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with an 8, benefits will be provided on the 8th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with a 9, your benefits will be available on the 9th of the month.
- If your SSN ends with a 0, you’ll receive benefits on the 10th of the month.
