USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) has announced the SNAP, or former Food Stamps, payments left in December. For example, Texas and Florida will issue benefits through December 28, 2024. The 48 contiguous States do not offer the largest benefit payments for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
However, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands offer the largest Food Stamp payments in December. The thing is Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have already issued all their benefits. Therefore, the largest SNAP benefit payment to be sent will arrive in Guam in what is left in December.
SNAP paydays and eligibility in Guam
While the 48 contiguous States will issue SNAP benefits of up to $292 for an individual, Guam will deliver Food Stamps worth $431 for just one person. A family of 4 and 8 can get up to $1,437 and up to $2,588 in Guam respectively.
Guam has a very easy system to know when your next SNAP payment will take place. Benefits will be issued depending on your Social Security Number. For example, if it ends in 8, your Food Stamps will be on your EBT card on December 8.
Those SNAP recipients in Guam whose Social Security Number ends in 9 will receive their Food Stamps on December 9, 2024. The last payday for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in Guam will be for those recipients whose SSN ends in 10, so their payment will be due on December 10, 2024.
