SNAP payments will be delivered to EBT cards in 6 States through October 23. Among these 6 States, you can find them in alphabetical order: Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, and Maryland.
Of course, there will also be other States sending Food Stamps, but these will be the only ones doing so until October 23, 2024. For example, Alabama uses the last 2 digits of the SNAP recipient’s case number. The payday on October 15 will be for those whose case number ends in 55-59. On the 23rd, from 95-99.
SNAP benefits in Delaware, Georgia, and Indiana
The State of Delaware will send Food Stamps on October 15 to those recipients whose first letter of their last name is “N”. If it is “O”, on the 16th. Those who have “P” on the 17th. If it is “Q” or “R”, on the 18th. Recipients whose first letter of their last name is “S”, will get SNAP benefits on the 19th, and so on.
The State of Georgia will be sending Food Stamps using the last 2 digits of the SNAP beneficiary’s ID.
- For ID numbers ending in 50-59, Food Stamp benefits are available on the 15th of October.
- For ID numbers ending in 60-69, benefits are available on the 17th of the month.
- For ID numbers ending in 70-79, benefits are available on the 19th of the month.
- For ID numbers ending in 80-89, benefits are available on the 21st of the month.
- For ID numbers ending in 90-99, benefits are available on the 23rd of the month.
Indiana will be delivering SNAP benefits through October 23 to those whose first letter of their name is:
- M or N: October 15
- O, P, Q, or R: October 17
- S: October 19
- T, U or V: October 21
- W, X, Y or Z: October 23
SNAP benefits in Louisiana and Maryland
The State of Louisiana uses the last digit of the SNAP recipient’s Social Security Number.
- If your Social Security Number ends in 6, Food Stamps are available on the 17th of the month.
- If your Social Security Number ends in 7, Food Stamps are available on the 19th of the month.
- If your Social Security Number ends in 8, Food Stamps are available on the 21st of the month.
- If your Social Security Number ends in 9, Food Stamps are available on the 23rd of the month.
Payday eligibility in Maryland using the first 3 letter of the SNAP recipients’ name:
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between LOY and MCO, benefits are available on the 15th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between MCP and NEF, benefits are available on the 16th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between NEG and PGZ, benefits are available on the 17th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between PHA and RIC, benefits are available on the 18th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between RID and SDZ, benefits are available on the 19th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between SEA and STC, benefits are available on the 20th of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between STD and TRA, benefits are available on the 21st of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between TRB and WES, benefits are available on the 22nd of the month.
- If the first three letters of your last name fall between WET and ZZZ, benefits are available on the 23rd of the month.
