The new SSA benefit payments will arrive in just a few days to a specific group of United States retirees. The Social Security payment schedule follows a scheme every month that makes it much easier for American households to organize their finances.
Thanks to this system, it is easier for citizens not to lose purchasing power, since they know at what time of the month they can get their monthly SSA. Even so, some citizens may get a little lost regarding the day of collection, as there are 4 different days where they can get the monthly benefit money.

In addition to those 4 days, there is an extra day which is the Supplemental Security Income day. This other payday is a totally different benefit and not all retirees get it, but it is an SSA payment and is part of the schedule.
Regardless of the type of benefit we have we could get the next of the checks. The important thing in these cases is to comply with the established requirements.
If we meet the requirements, in just one week we will receive the SSA payment. If we do not meet the requirements, nothing happens, since we will receive the check in the next few weeks. So pay attention to the eligibility conditions.
WHO GETS THE NEXT SSA CHECK AND WHEN?
The average SSA check in the United States in 2023 is $1,800. This check has a current maximum amount of $4,555 per month. This does not mean that all retirees will collect the same check. It may be very similar, but it is rarely the same. Each payment is totally different in amount.
The next of the Social Security payments will be on October 11th. This makes it only a week away from reaching Americans’ pockets. In order to get this check, you must meet these two requirements:
- Have an accepted benefit since after 1997.
- Have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month.
There are no other eligibility criteria to get this payment. However, if we want the check to arrive on the same day it is sent, we would have to activate Direct Deposit. Otherwise, it will take a few days for the SSA money to appear in our bank account.
