The Disability Benefit Payment Calendar is ready for August. Thus, SSDI and SSI recipients can now check when they can receive their monthly payments in the United States. The first and the last disability benefit payment in August will be due on the first and the thirtieth.
So, SSI beneficiaries get their payment on August 1 and August 30. This is because the payment for September needs to be sent 2 days in advance. SSA cannot deliver checks or direct deposits on Sundays, so that is the reason for this change.

SSDI, but not on August 3
SSI recipients will not be the only ones that will have a payday change. Americans on SSDI will not get their money on August 3 because it is on the weekend. Instead, they will receive their money on Friday, August 2.
The SSDI payment on August 2 will be for those retirees who have been for 27 years on Social Security or more. That is, those who got disability benefits before May 1997.
However, they will not be the only recipients. SSI recipients who get SSDI as well will get this payment on August 2. 3 more rounds of checks and direct deposits will be sent in mid and late August.
SSDI from August 14-28
The Social Security Administration is going to send money on August 14 to those disability recipients who do not receive SSI, got benefits after April 30 1997, and were born before the 10th.
Those who meet the same conditions but their birthday is later in the month, can receive SSDI benefits on August 21. But only if their birth dates are from the 11th to the 20th.
In the same way, if you are receiving Social Security Disability Insurance and you did not qualify for any of the previous payments, your birthday must be from 21-31. So you will qualify for the check or direct deposit on August 28. The average payment will be $1,537 for SSDI and $697 for SSI.
