If you do not qualify for the March 13 payments, Social Security has scheduled 2 more paydays. March 20 and March 27 will be the last two checks arriving this month.

The amount of your check will depend on your filing age, earnings, and work history. However, the average check is worth $1,909. It could be higher or lower. Early filers may get a lower payment.

While high earners could receive a lot more. The largest check a retiree aged 62 could receive from Social Security is worth $2,710. At Full Retirement Age, it could be $3,822.

Those seniors who have managed to earn the taxable maximum for 35 years and file at the age of 70 can get $4,873 in 2024. Do not forget that workers must have their jobs covered by SSA.
