Those who have already applied and got approval from the Social Security Administration will receive their next monthly payment in October. Usually, the SSI payment is due on the first day of the month. However, there can be changes when it falls on the weekend or a Federal holiday.
SSI payment for 65-year-olds in October
The Supplemental Security Income payment will be sent on October 1 claimed Social Security. This will be the only payday available for over 7 million recipients in the United States.
That means all recipients will receive money on that day unless they become ineligible. Bear in mind that if your personal or financial situation changes, you may no longer qualify for SSI.
