In order to keep track of the schedule of Social Security disability benefit payments we just need to check the days on which the Administration sends out a check. Regardless of the type of benefit you have, it is easy to find out the date of the payment.
The Social Security Administration will always send disability benefits on the 3rd day to the first of the group, with some exceptions. After that payment, the checks arrive on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month, depending on which group we belong to.

In this way we can know exactly on which day we will receive the disability benefit. If we know which group we belong to, we can easily guess the day we will receive our Social Security disability benefit.
As with the disability check, the Social Security age retirement payment also arrives on those days. So if you have one benefit or the other you will be able to cash a check depending on which group you are in.
Who gets the next disability benefit?
The next of the groups to collect the disability benefit is the last of the month of April. This payment sent by Social Security is the fourth of the checks for retirees within the month and the last one before the following month.
The beneficiaries who receive this benefit are those who belong to the last of the groups. To receive this new check it is necessary to meet two requirements, which determine whether or not we are within the last group of beneficiaries with a disability:
- To have the disability benefit after 1997.
- To be between the 21st and 31st of the month.
If these two requirements are met, we will have the next Social Security payment in our pocket. After this payment we will have to wait until May to receive the next retirement check.
When is the next Social Security payment?
The next Social Security payment, the last one in April, will be on the 26th. On this day, disability benefit recipients, as well as all other retirees, will be able to receive the new amount.
In order to receive the check on the same day, it is mandatory to activate Direct Deposit. Otherwise, we will have to wait for the money to reach our bank account.
