A new check is coming soon, learn here if you are eligible for this payment in the USA

Collecting a new check is what millions of Americans really need. A payment of approximately $1,841 or $1,486 is due on November 15. There are so many Americans who are running out of money that receiving money from Social Security, SNAP or a tax rebate is essential.

In this case, it is not a stimulus check but a Social Security payment. As a matter of fact, there are two different groups of beneficiaries that will collect some money in just a few hours. So, make sure you check your bank account balance tomorrow to see if your payment has arrived.

This will actually be the fourth check that Social Security will send in November. However, it will not be the last one since there will be another Social Security payment next week.

Who will receive a new check on November 15?

First and foremost, you must have filed for Social Security. If you received benefits before May 1997, you cannot qualify for the November 15 payment. This is because you will receive it on December 3 and you got it on November 3.

Besides, your birthday must be from the 11th to the 20th. If your birth date falls on any of these days, you will receive a payment on November 15. On the one hand, you can receive this money if you are on retirement benefits.

On the other hand, you may also receive some cash if you are on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits. Therefore, there are two groups of beneficiaries that can get a new check on the same day even if their benefits are not the same.

Remember that to get retirement benefits you must have worked for at least ten years and earned 40 work credits. The age to retire starts at 62. SSDI works similarly, but the age and the number of years of work may be lower if you are younger and have a qualifying disability.

What if I do not qualify for this check on November 15 and I am on Social Security?

Luckily, there will be another Social Security payment on November 22. Thus, if your birthday is from the 21st to the 31st you may be eligible. Of course, you must have received benefits after May 1997 or in May 1997.

Once more, this new payday will be for Americans on Social Security retirement benefits and those on SSDI. The maximum amount for the November 15 and 22 checks will be $4,555 for retirement or $3,627 for SSDI.

These checks will include the 2023 COLA increase. Nevertheless, the 2024 COLA will not be ready until January 3, 10, 17 or 24. It will depend on the payday you qualify for. Remember that there will be a 3.2% increase.

If you have a low income and you find it really hard to make ends meet, apply for Supplemental Security Income while on Social Security. By doing so, you can increase your monthly income. The SNAP benefits can also help you buy some food. Do not put it off and apply for them as soon as possible.
