CalFresh (SNAP) payment dates in August
More and more Californians join the CalFresh program every month. So, if you are one of them, you may still not know when the payments will be due and how paydays are administered.
USDA has confirmed that the August payments will be from August 1 through August 10. The SNAP recipients in California will get money on a specific payday depending on the last digit of the recipient’s case number.
As for the maximum amount, a single recipient can get up to $291. If you are a 2-member family, you could get up to $535. A family of 3 can receive up to $766. Families of 4 may be more frequent and they can get up to $973 from CalFresh (SNAP).

California has a very simple way to administer payment dates. If your case number ends in 1, you will receive your Food Stamps on August 1. Thus, if your case number ends in 2, you will get CalFresh benefits on the 2nd.
Since it is a very predictable method, all you need to do is learn the number your case ends in. To get money on August 3, you will need to have a case number ending in 3.
Therefore, payments will continue like that until August 10. Obviously, to get Food Stamps on August 10, your case number end in 0.
