Social Security and SSI amounts in July
It will depend on the work history of each recipient. Therefore, there can be large payment amounts or small ones. For example, the average retirement benefit is worth $1,915.
Probably, those who receive SSI at the same time get a lower retirement benefit amount. SSDI can be on average $1,537. If you are on SSI, the average payment for those aged 65 or older can be about $574.
Those aged 18-64 can receive about $743 from SSI. As for the payday, July 1 will be when over 7.5 million Americans will get SSI. Retirement and SSDI benefits will be arriving on July 3 if you are on SSI at the same time or started on Social Security before May 1997. July 10, 17, and 24 will also be SSDI and retirement benefit paydays.
