Some States will deliver the exact amount to EBT cards on October 1 to all the eligible recipients in their States. Others, like Florida and Texas, can take up to 28 days to finish payment deliveries.

States like Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Dakota will send all the Food Stamps on October 1. Therefore, it does not matter the Social Security Number, case number, or the first letter of your last name because your payday will be October 1st.

Other States need to arrange payment following a specific pattern. For example, in California, SNAP recipients need to know the last digit of their case number. If it ends in 1, they get money from USDA on October 1st.
