Social Security confirms SSI payment in days for December

The next SSI payment will be issued on November 1, and it will be the same payday for all eligible recipients. The good news for those who receive Supplemental Security  Income and Social Security simultaneously is that the payday will also be November 1 for retirees and SSDI recipients.

So, it will be possible to collect SSI and Social Security on November 1. This will be possible because the Social Security check cannot be sent on November 3 since it is on the weekend. Surprises are not over for November.

SSI recipients to get a payment on November 29

The Social Security Administration’s payment schedule unveiled that there will be a new check on November 29. In this case, it will be the Supplemental Security Income payment for December 1, 2024.

Since December 1 falls on a Sunday, it will be sent on Black Friday. A great coincidence if you need to buy something and save some money on that day. The maximum amounts will remain the same for the November 1 and November 29 paydays.

Thus, individuals will get a maximum payment of up to $943 while eligible married couples up to $1,415. Essential persons can only receive a payment on both dates if eligible. Their maximum amounts are $472. None of them include the 2025 COLA increase.

SSI payments with COLA from December 31

The Agency has confirmed that Supplemental Security Income will be the first recipients to enjoy the COLA increase. Since their January 1 payment will be issued on December 31, this payment will bring the 2.5% boost.

Once the COLA increase comes into effect, recipients could get up to $967 if they are single. Married couples who qualify can receive a payment of up to $1,415.

Essential persons will also receive a check of up to $484 after the cost-of-living adjustment.
