Disability benefits are about to be sent for some SSDI beneficiaries. The Social Security Admnistration has confirmed that the next payment will be for those who meet one important requirement.
However, this disability payment will not be for you if you started receiving Social Security before May 1997. This is because you have already received your payment in December.
If your birthday is from the 1st to the 10th and you are on disability benefits, this money will not be for you either. Therefore, there are two remaining groups that may qualify for one of the next two payments.
WHO WILL RECEIVE DISABILITY BENEFITS (SSDI) ON DECEMBER 20?
Apart from having filed for benefits after May 1997, they must meet the birth date requirement. That means that if the day when you were born matches the Social Security bracket, this payment will be yours.
For example, if your birthday is on the 17th of any month, this payment will be yours. The reason why you will receive your disability benefits on this date is that your birth date must be from the 11th to the 20th.
The second possibility to cash disability benefits in December is to have your birthday from the 21st to the 31st. But your payday will be December 27. So if you have not received SSDI yet, and you do not qualify for the December 20 payment, it will be yours.
Remember that disability benefits generally arrive on the 3rd day of the month and on the second, the third, and the fourth Wednesday of the month. Nevertheless, there some some slight variations from time to time.
HOW MUCH CAN SSDI PAYMENTS BE IN DECEMBER 2023?
