June 3 is the payment date for those on Social Security before May 1997. Nevertheless, this is not the only possibility of getting money from the Administration on the third.
Those retirees who are on Social Security and SSI (Supplemental Security Income) also get a direct deposit or check on June 3. Some retirees who filed for benefits after April 30, 1997, qualify for later payments.
June 12 could be your next Social Security payment date
If you receive monthly payments from the Administration, and you do not qualify for the first one on June 3, there will be payments on June 12, June 18, and June 26. June 12 will be your payday if your birthday is from the 1-10.
Generally, this second round of payments is sent on the second, the third, and the fourth Wednesday. This month there is a small change though. In most cases, this money will be in your bank account on time.
Sometimes there could be delays so you must call your bank to see what happened with your Social Security payment. After three mailing days, you can contact SSA to report a missing, lost, or stolen check.
June 18 and June 26 will be paydays said Social Security
Bear in mind that there will be no Social Security on the third Wednesday in June. This is because the payment on June 19 cannot be sent on that day because of the Federal holiday of Juneteenth.
Instead, you will get a check on June 18 if your birthday is from the 11th to the 20th of any month. The last payday will take place on June 26, obviously, it will be yours if you also meet the birth date requirement.
Social Security will pay retirees whose birthdays are from 21-31 on June 26. As for the maximum amounts, American retirees could get up to $4,873. Average payments are worth $1,915, but you could get a lower amount if you have not paid enough taxes, filed at 62, or did not for more than 10 years.
