Each year the United States Social Security Administration announces the complete payment schedule for the following year. When this calendar is available we can mark the days when we might get each check for the year 2024. Each new month means a new payment and if we know the exact day we can have a better financial organization.
For that reason checking the complete calendar is really useful. Thanks to this calendar we will have less financial problems. Even so, it is a good idea to check each of the months separately when the particular month arrives. Sometimes there can be irregularities in Social Security payments that can completely change the situation.

Regardless of the type of benefit we have, the check will be on the same days. In other words, a disability retiree will receive the payment on the same day as an age-based retiree. It is important to understand this in order to determine which day of the month we will collect each new payment.
In this sense, retirement payments will always be on the same days of the month for the different groups. Although there are some irregularities, the general rule is the same for each month. Even so, checking Social Security payments is vital for economic organization, so it is advisable to do so.
2024 SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT SCHEDULE
To know the exact day on which we will collect each month we have to check which group we belong to. To do this, we have to understand that group 1 is the group of retirees prior to 1997. Post-1997 retirees belong to groups 2, 3 and 4. Group 2 is for retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month. Group 3 is composed of citizens with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month. The last group, group 4 is retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st.
With this previous information you can see which group you belong to. In this case, we have to understand that the first date of each month is for the Supplemental Security Income turkey. The second day is always for the payment of group 1 beneficiaries. The following days are always the payments for retirees in groups 2, 3 and 4, respectively.
These will be the 2024 payment days for Social Security beneficiaries:
- January: 3, 10, 17, and 24.
- February: 1, 2, 14, 21 and 28.
- March: 1 (SSI and Group 1), 13, 20 and 27.
- April: 1, 3, 10, 10, 17 and 24.
- May: 1, 3, 8, 15, 22 and 31 (June ISS).
- June: 3, 12, 18 and 26.
- July: 1, 3, 10, 17 and 24.
- August: 1, 2, 14, 21, 28 and 30 (September ISS).
- September: 3, 11, 18 and 25.
- October: 1, 3, 9, 16 and 23.
- November: 1 (ISS and Group 1). December 13, 20, 27 and 29 (December ISS).
- December: 3, 11, 18, 24 and 31 (SSI January 2025).
As you can see, there are months when the Social Security Administration will send 6 different payments and other months when it will send 4 different payments. Each month is totally different and if there is an irregularity the money is sent on the immediately preceding business day.
