Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI): upcoming payments
The Administration will send a new payment on July 17, 2024. Therefore, you will get money in your bank account if you are not on SSI, did not get benefits before May 1997 and your birthday is from 11-20.
If you were born after the 20th, your next SSDI payment will be arriving on July 24, 2024. Bear in mind that your payment amount will depend on many different factors, so it may be different for each recipient. The SSDI payments for August will be on the 2nd, 14th, 21st and 28th. And September 3, 11, 18 and 25.
The maximum Social Security Disability Insurance payment is worth $3,822. Nevertheless, average payments are more realistic and frequent. As of May 2024, the average SSDI check or direct deposit is $1,537.
Social Security retirement paydays
The remaining retirement benefits will be due on the same days as the SSDI payments. Therefore, you could receive your payment on July 17 (birth date 11-20) or July 24 (birth date 21-31). It will not be for those on SSI or on benefits before May 1997 though.
The Social Security retirement payments for August and September will be arriving first on August 2, and September 3, 2024. These paydays will only be for those on benefits before May 1997 and for those who get SSI and retirement.
Depending on your birthday, you will get the payments on August 14, 21, or 28 and on September 11, 18, and 25. Wait for three mailing days before you report a missing payment, delays may occur if your bank does not have enough time to process all the payments when due.
