The Atlanta Regional Commission predicts the program, costing $1 million, will add 800 to 1,000 new e-bikes. This will cut the city’s carbon footprint and better job access for low-income residents.

Anyone can apply for the $1,000 rebate, but Atlanta has decided that 75 percent of the checks will be allocated to those earning $54,000 annually or less. If you meet these income criteria, your rebate will increase to $1,500 for an e-bike and $2,000 for a cargo e-bike.
