SSDI payments are arriving at last for a large group of recipients. Disability benefits are only for those who have paid enough payroll taxes to the Social Security Administration.

What is more, if you have overcome your disability, you may no longer be eligible for disability benefits. Social Security will review your case from time to time and you must report SSA any important changes.

Disability benefits will arrive on March 27 for those whose birthday is from 21-31. Therefore, if your birthday is not on those days of any month, you are not entitled to this payment. It is necessary to be on benefits from May 1997 onward too.

WHAT IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY SSDI CHECK OR DIRECT DEPOSIT ON MARCH 27?

The Social Security Administration always sends payments on time. Therefore, it is very unlikely that you do not receive your money when due. However, SSA recommends waiting for three mailing days.

In this way, you can ensure that there are no delays in the mail or that your bank did not have any difficulty in processing your payment. First of all, contact your bank.

If you do not receive your check after 3 mailing days, call SSA or visit their office to report a missing payment. April payments will take place on April 3, 10, 17 and 24.
