SNAP requirements to get benefits in July 2024

General work requirements include accepting a job offer, not working fewer hours or leaving your job, enrolment for work, and taking part in training programs for employment.
Specific work requirements apply for the ABAWD (Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents). It is for those who can work aged 18-52. They must work for at least 20 hours per week to get SNAP benefits for more than 3 months in 3 years. Exemptions and alternatives are available.
