Keep updated because the Social Security changes slightly the payment dates from time to time. These changes are in general good for retirees because they can receive their money in advance.

When there is a holiday, like Juneteenth National Independence Day, the Social Security Administration needs to re-schedule paydays because offices will be closed on those holidays. The same thing happens with Saturdays and Sundays, there are no payments on the weekend.

New payment date for these Social Security beneficiaries

If you began receiving Social Security retirement or even Disability Insurance benefits after April 30, 1997, and your birthday is from 11-20, your next payment will be due on June 18.

Retirees who are in a similar situation but whose birthdate is from 1-10 will get their money on June 12. So, this payment will be on the second Wednesday like every June.

The payment on June 26 will also be on the fourth Wednesday. Therefore, there will be no delays and Social Security will send the June 19 payment one day in advance. If your payment is late or missing, contact your financial institution first. After three mailing days, you can call SSA.
