These other benefits are not the same as regular retirement checks. Only a group of United States citizens who meet certain requirements will be eligible for Supplemental Security Income. This other payment is made at the beginning of each month if an option has been activated.
The general rule for Supplemental Security Income checks is that the Social Security Administration sends the amount to beneficiaries on the 1st of each month, although this is not always the case, as there are sometimes exceptions.

How do I get Supplemental Security Income quickly?
In order to receive your monthly Supplemental Security Income benefit from Social Security, you must activate a specific payment method. If we do not activate this option, it will be impossible to get the money on the same day that the Administration sends it.

When is the next SSI payment?
On the 1st of May, the new SSI check will arrive for SSI recipients. Since there is no irregularity in the schedule, Supplemental Security Income recipients should receive it on time without any problems.
When the 1st of the month is a weekend or holiday, the Supplemental Security Income check is mailed on the immediately preceding business day, but this is not the case for May, since the 1st is a business day in the United States.
