The Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) continues expanding both online tools and taxpayer services. Thanks to the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) funds, all these changes and improvements have been possible.

The main highlights are the expansion of the I.R.S. business and individual online accounts. What is more, the Document Upload Tool has reached 1 million submissions. Needless to say, there have been more amended returns filed electronically.

IRS six new features to help taxpayers

Among the six new features for the Individual Online Account stands out the new Spanish version of the Business Tax Account tool. Besides, many taxpayers have benefited from the awesome availability of amended business forms which can be filed online and electronically.

Another important achievement the IRS highlights is more special Community Assistance Visits to support American taxpayers in underserved areas of the United States.

All these efforts are part of the IRS Strategic Operating Plan said IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel. Taxpayers can now enjoy more in-person help from the Internal Revenue Service.
