USDA has confirmed the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments for Colorado in September. Colorado will send Food Stamps from September 1, through September 10, 2024.
Colorado will use the recipient’s Social Security Number to arrange paydays. For example, if your Social Security Number ends in 1, your SNAP payment will be due on September 1, 2024.
SNAP payment dates in Colorado for September
Those citizens who qualify for Food Stamps can receive payments of up to $291 (individual) on the following paydays. Families of 4 can receive up to $943 and an 8-member family up to $1,751.
- If your SSN ends in 1, your benefits will be available on the 1st of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 2, your benefits will be accessible on the 2nd of the month.
- For those whose SSN ends in 3, benefits become available on the 3rd of the month.
- When your SSN ends in 4, your benefits will be accessible starting on the 4th of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 5, your benefits will be released on the 5th of the month.
- For an SSN ending in 6, benefits are made available on the 6th of the month.
- Should your SSN end in 7, your benefits will be accessible on the 7th of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 8, benefits become available on the 8th of the month.
- For SSNs ending in 9, benefits will be released on the 9th of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 0, your benefits will be available starting on the 10th of the month.
$60-dollar bonus for SNAP recipients in Colorado
Apart from receiving money from USDA, the Colorado Department of Human Services has launched the Colorado SNAP Produce Bonus. Those citizens who are already receiving Food Stamps can get a bonus of up to $60 per month.
There is no need to apply or sign up. All you have to do is visit an eligible market. There, you can spend up to $20 on eligible vegetables and fruits. Then, you will receive a match of up to $20 per purchase and up to a 60-dollar limit per month.
