Those who earn a lot of money but do not pay taxes to SSA, are not eligible for a check of up to $4,873.
Eligibility for the Social Security payment on August 14
Keep in mind that to receive money from the Administration on August 14, you must also meet the birth date requirement. If you were not born on the days Social Security established, you may be eligible for a later payment, but not for this one.
For example, if you were born before the 11th of any month, your next payment will be due on August 14. If your birthday is from the 11th to the 20th, your next payday will be on August 21.
The last payment date will be on August 28. This Social Security payment will be for retirees whose birth date is after the 20th of any month. SSA will continue sending payments on September 3, 2024, if you do not qualify for any of these 3 retirement payments.
