In a few days millions of U.S. citizens will be able to enjoy a new Social Security check. This group of U.S. citizens will collect their benefit regardless of the type of benefit they have. However, there are requirements that must be met in order to obtain the payment.
Even so, the requirements are easy to meet and determine on which day of the month they will be able to collect their retirement pay. Throughout the month, the Social Security Administration sends up to four different checks. Receiving one or the other depends on the group to which you belong.

Moreover, not only old-age retirees can benefit from the new Social Security check. Disability, survivors or other retirees may also benefit from the new check. The only way to receive the next paycheck is to meet the mandatory requirement.
If we meet this requirement, the Administration will send the payment in just a few hours. The rest of the retirees will also receive their pay in November, but not on that day, but a few days later. The best thing about having a monthly Social Security payment is that we know with certainty that we will receive it every month.
WHO WILL GET THE NEW SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK?
In order to get this new Social Security payment we must meet two requirements. These two requirements are linked to the personal information of each citizen. If we are within the group we will be able to collect the new check on November 8th. This payment is intended for retirees who meet the following two conditions:
- Have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of the month.
- Have a Social Security check accepted after 1997.
Just meeting these two requirements is enough to get this next day’s check. The payment of up to $4,555 will be higher in 2024 thanks to the COLA, but for now the maximum is still $4,555 per month.
Still, this is not the last of the November Social Security payments, so it’s best to check the calendar in full.
OTHER RETIREMENT PAYMENTS IN NOVEMBER
In addition to the first November 3 payment for pre-1997 retirees, Social Security is sending checks to post-1997 retirees. In this regard, the days chosen will be the second, third and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
Therefore, if you have your benefit since after 1997, you should know that your date of birth will determine the exact day of collection. In this sense, retirees whose birthdays are between the 1st and 10th will be paid on November 8. This is the next payment. And after this one there are some more payments.
The last two payments will be on November 15 and 22. November 15 will be for retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month. The last payment day of the month will be for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and the 31st of the month.
