USDA, through the Food and Nutrition Service, has confirmed the SNAP payments starting on August 4. Although States like Alaska, Vermont, or Rhode Island sent all the money on the 1st, others will start later.

In alphabetical order, Arkansas, Maryland, Minnesota, and Mississippi, are the States that will begin issuing Food Stamps from August 4. Puerto Rico is also doing so through August 22.

SNAP paydays and eligibility in Arkansas and Maryland

Arkansas will be sending Food Stamps from August 4 through August 13. To know when your Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits are due, check the last digit of your Social Security Number. If your SSN ends in 0 or 1, they are due on the 4th. Those whose SSN ends in 2 or 3 get them on the 5th.

If it ends in 4-9, paydays from the 6th to the 13th. Maryland will continue sending SNAP benefits through August 23. This State uses the first letter of the beneficiary’s last name. For example, if it is AAA and BAO, the payment is on August 4.

Bear in mind that the largest SNAP benefit is worth $1,751 for a household of 8 in the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia. A family of for can receive up to $973 and one person up to $291.

SNAP paydays and eligibility in Minnesota and Mississippi

Minnesota, just like Arkansas, is sending Food Stamps through August 13. This State uses the last digit of the recipient’s case. Thus, if your case ends in 4, you will get SNAP benefits on the 4th.

To get Food Stamps on August 10th in Minnesota, your case number must end in 0. If it ends in 1, you will receive money on your EBT card on the 11th. Mississippi will have 8 more paydays than Minnesota.

The last payday there will be on August 21. Mississippi also uses the case number. So if it ends in 00-04, you will receive SNAP benefits on August 4. Those whose case ends in 05-10 receive it on August 5. The last payday will be for those who have a case number ending in 95-99.
