The State of Louisiana is still sending SNAP benefits, the former Food Stamps in February. This Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is only for low-income families who have applied and got the approval.
Although Louisiana started sending SNAP checks on February 1, there are still many paydays left. To know whether your payday is February 15 or not, you should check your Social Security Number.
People with a disability or the elderly have already received their benefits. So, they will need to wait till March 1-4 for their next SNAP payment. February 15 is your payday if your SSN ends in 5.
LOUISIANA WILL SEND SNAP BENEFITS ON THESE DATES
February 19, 21 and 23 will be Food Stamp paydays. If your Social Security Number ends in 6, you will receive your monthly payment on February 17. Therefore, you will not have to wait for long.

The last opportunity to cash SNAP benefits will be on February 23. This is your payment date if your Social Security Number ends in 9. If you do not know the maximum amounts, read about it below.
