SNAP benefit payments in November and December with the 2025 COLA increase

Discover when your SNAP (Food Stamps) payments will be issued in November and December, new paydays and maximum amounts

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has confirmed the SNAP or Food Stamp payments in November and December. For your information, since October 1, 2024, all recipients will receive the 2025 COLA increase. It has been a lower-than-expected boost but it will mean most beneficiaries will get extra money. Hence, it will be better than the reduction that has taken place in Hawaii after the cost of living adjustment.

The current maximum amounts will remain the same from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. So, they will not change until the new 2026 COLA comes into effect. SNAP payment dates are not the same in all States, Districts, or U.S. territories. This is because each State can arrange paydays and deal with the application process too. According to the USDA monthly issuance, here are the paydays for November and December.

SNAP payment dates in November 2024

The earliest payments for Food Stamps will arrive to recipients EBT cards on November 1. Some States will send all the payments on a single payday. For example, North Dakota will issue all SNAP benefits on November 1, 2024.
