USDA has confirmed the SNAP payment schedule for November. The 2025 COLA increase became effective on October 1, 2024, so the maximum amounts will remain unchanged through September 30, 2025.

Some States are still sending Food Stamps in October, but most Americans have received their money on their SNAP EBT cards. For example, Florida and Texas will carry on with payments through October 28.

Some States like Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Dakota will send all the SNAP payments on November 1, 2024. So, there will just be a single payday. Some States will not start on November 1. For instance, South Dakota will not begin until November 10 and it will be the only payment date.

SNAP payment amounts

The maximum amounts will be the same in the 48 contiguous States, while Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands can get higher maximum amounts due to their cost of living.

A single person can get up to $292 in the 48 contiguous States. It can be up to $517 in Hawaii and up to $586 in Alaska. A family of four up to $975 in most States, $1,723 in Hawaii and $1,953 in Alaska.

Families with 8 members can get up to $1,756 in the 48 contiguous States. While in Hawaii it could be up to $3,102, Alaskan could get up to $3,516 after the 2025 COLA increase.
