SNAP is the former Food Stamps program and it is currently the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It can give an eligible individual a monthly payment of up to $292 after the 2025 COLA increase, or $199 on average per CBPP.

SNAP has a lot of perks, like discounts on museums or sometimes reduced internet prices. The Restaurant Meals Program (RMP)is another advantage it has for a particular group of recipients living in some States.

Who can take advantage of the SNAP Benefits at Restaurants?

The eligibility requirements for the RMP (Restaurant Meals Program) are several. The first one is to be a certified recipient of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Secondly, your State must offer the RMP or you will not be able to benefit from it. What is more, all the members living in the household must meet one of the following requirements.
