SNAP payments arriving in Texas, Food Stamps worth up to $1,751

While most SNAP recipients have already received Food Stamps in Texas, others need to wait for up to 2 more days to get the money on EBT cards

The United States Department of Agriculture has announced when the last SNAP payments will be sent in Texas. What is more, USDA has also confirmed the October payments for eligible recipients in this State.

September 26, September 27, and September 28 will be the last three paydays in Texas. So checks of up to $1,751 will be arriving soon if you qualified and have not received your money yet.

It is time to check who is eligible for Food Stamps on Sep. 26, 27, or 28. Usda, through the Food and Nutrition Service, has confirmed that recipients need to check the last 2 digits of the eligibility determination group or EDG in Texas.

SNAP benefit amounts in Texas

Texas shares the same maximum amounts as the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia. For example, a single person can receive up to $291. If you are 2 people living in the same household, it could be up to $535.

Families or households with 3 or 4 members can receive $766 or $973 respectively. A 5-member household can receive up to $1,155. If you are 6 or 7 it could be up to $1,386 and $1,532.

The largest benefit payment to SNAP recipients will be worth $1,751 if you are 8. However, there will be a COLA increase in October and there will be new amounts.
