There are several States that start sending Food Stamps on June 3, 2024. However, only one of them will give checks worth up to $1,759 to eligible families of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
In fact, Hawaii is the only State that sends up to $1,759 for a family of 4 on SNAP. The 48 contiguous States will send up to $973, which is a good amount but far from the amount in Hawaii. This is because some States and U.S. territories have higher inflation and need more money to buy the same amount of food.
