Most States have delivered the monthly SNAP payments in October. That is why millions of Americans are waiting for their Food Stamps. Although the maximum payment amount for a household of 8 is $1,756 after COLA in the 48 contiguous States, Alaska will send the highest payments.
Not only will Alaska send larger payments, but also Hawaii, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands will send more money because they have a higher cost of living. The COLA has not brought changes in amounts and recipients in Hawaii got a reduction instead. So, the new 2025 COLA is a great disappointment for customers.
New SNAP payments in the U.S. after Halloween
Depending on where you live, you could get a Food Stamp payment earlier or later in the month. For example, Alaskans will get their money on EBT cards on the first. Florida and Texas will continue sending benefits till the 28th.
