The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has not finished sending Food Stamps in October. Families of four can receive up to $975, up from $973 thanks to the 2025 COLA increase.
Even if it is a very small COLA increase, Food Stamp recipients whose household has 4 members can benefit from up to 24 dollars extra per year, which will definitely come in handy when you live on a shoestring budget.

If you are a couple or a household of 2, you can receive up to $536, up from $535. Thus, once more, the 2025 COLA just meant 1 dollar extra per month in maximum amounts. Families of 3 can receive up to $768 after COLA, up from $766.
Five-member families can receive up to $1,158 thanks to COLA. Bear in mind that the former maximum amount for 5 was $1,155. Other higher payment amounts for bigger families are:

Sometimes families can be even higher so there is a possibility of increasing benefits by $220 per each additional person on Food Stamps in a household.
