Social Security’s payment schedule has unveiled interesting facts about the upcoming payments in November and December. There are payments left for retirees but also for Supplemental Security Income.
What is more, if you are a beneficiary of both Social Security and SSI, you have more chances to get more payments than those who just qualify for one of them.
Who can receive 3 payments before 2025? Social Security confirms it
The Agency will send an SSI payment on November 29, 2024, and December 31, 2024. Therefore, if you are receiving Supplemental Security Income, these will be the last 2 payments you can receive before the new year comes.
Apart from the Supplemental Security Income checks, retirement benefit payments are on schedule too. Thus, if you qualify for a Social Security check or direct deposit on December 3, and you get SSI, you will receive 3 payments before 2025 arrives.
Hence, if you are a retiree who receives the payment on the 3 and SSI too, you will receive three payments in what is left in 2024. The last SSI check will include the 2025 COLA increase of 2.5%.
