Some SSDI recipients may also receive SSI (Supplemental Security Income) benefits. These payments have been scheduled for October 1 by the Social Security Administration.
If you started collecting Social Security Disability Insurance payments before May 1997, October 3 will be your next payment date. If you are receiving SSDI and SSI, October 3 will also be your payday.
The Wednesday payments will take place on October 9, October 16, and October 23. To get money on these days you cannot be receiving SSI and you must have received benefits after April 30, 1997. Average amounts for SSDI recipients in October may be similar to the ones in September about $1,539.
