Social Security will start the month by sending monthly Supplemental Security Income payments of up to $1,415 for eligible married couples. Individuals on SSI can get up to $943.

The payday will be the same for both individuals and married couples on SSI. In fact, SSI will be due on July 1 claimed the Social Security Administration on its payment schedule.

Social Security direct deposits of up to $4,873 on July 3

If you do not receive retirement benefits, you may still qualify for the Social Security payment on July 3. The reason is simple, SSDI recipients may also get a payment on this date.

So, if you started collecting retirement or SSDI benefits before May 1997, your payment date is on this third. Some recipients will qualify for the July 1 and July 3 checks.

To get both checks, you must have a low retirement or SSDI payment. If you qualify for both, SSI arrives on the first day of the month and retirement or SSDI on the third. If you get SSI, you cannot get $4,783 because this is for workers who were high earners for 35 years or more.

Social Security Disability Insurance and retirement checks after July 3

The Social Security Administration will be sending monthly payments through July 24. These payments are for those who did not receive benefits before May 1997.

So, if you are on benefits after April 30, 1997, all you need to know is your birthday.

The maximum benefits are exactly the same as for those beneficiaries who get Social Security on July 3. Other possible amounts are $2,710 at 62 and $3,822 at Full Retirement Age.
