- did not break any SSA rules
- were born from the 21st to the 31st
- is not a recipient of SSI
- did not get benefits before May 1997
If you are receiving Supplemental Security Income, you will need to wait until October to receive your money. Bear in mind that these monthly payments will not include the 2025 COLA increase. So, the maximum amounts for retirement, SSI, and SSDI remain unchanged.
On average, Social Security retirement benefits are worth $1,920. SSDI payments can be about $1,539 on average, so almost $1,540. If you are receiving SSI, your maximum amounts can be up to $943 for individuals and $1,415 for married couples. On average, about $698 for all recipients.
Retirees can receive the largest benefit payments worth $4,873. However, few American workers get so much money. SSDI recipients can only get up to $3,822, the same as retirees who file at Full Retirement Age.
