The next SSDI payment of up to $3,822 will be due on August 14, 2024. To get this payment, regardless of the amount you receive, you must meet several requirements or else, Social Security will not send you this direct deposit or check.

If you are receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) you are not entitled to this SSDI payment. The same goes for those who got benefits before May 1997, whose next payment will be due on September 3, 2024.

Who qualifies for SSDI on August 14, 2024?

Social Security Disability Insurance payments will be next for those recipients whose birth date is from 1-10. It does not really matter the month or year you were born. Of course, you must have received benefits after April 30, 1997, to be eligible.

Keep in mind that only those recipients who remain eligible can get these payments from Social Security. For example, if you no longer have a qualifying condition because you got over it recently, you should report it.

Then, Social Security can decide whether you can continue receiving benefits or not. Although SSDI payments will be issued on August 14, some banks may not process payments on time. Anyway, it is advisable to wait for 3 mailing days before you contact SSA to report a missing or late payment.
