The SSI full payment schedule is ready for 2025. It is essential to know when you are going to receive your money from the Supplemental Security Income program. In this way, you can arrange your expenses properly.
For your information, the first SSI payment for January 2025 will be due on December 31, 2024. So, if you are an eligible recipient you will be the first to get the 2025 COLA boost and in 2024.
SSI payments from February through June
The February payment for Supplemental Security Income recipients will be due on January 31, 2025. Therefore, there will be 2 payments in a row sent in advance. This usually happens because Social Security cannot send money on holidays or weekends.
Then, SSI payments must be rescheduled to be sent on the previous business day. In the same way, the March payment will be issued on Friday, February 28. In fact, April will be the first month in 2025 when Social Security schedules the payday for the first day of the month.
May will have two paydays. One for May and the other one for June. May 1 will be the first payment and the one for June will arrive in recipients’ accounts on May 30. Thus, it will be sent 2 days in advance.
SSI payments from July through December
The July and August payments for Supplemental Security Income recipients will bring no surprises. They have been scheduled for July 1 and August 1. The one for September will not be sent on Labor Day (September 1).
Instead, the Social Security Administration has scheduled it for August 29, 2024. The October and December SSI payment dates are set for the 1st. However, to get money in November you must wait until October 31, 2024.
There will be an SSI payment for January 2026 on December 31, 2025. The maximum amount will be $943 plus the 2025 COLA increase for individuals. Eligible married couples can get up to $1,415 in 2024, so recipients must wait to know the COLA increase to learn about the exact amounts.
